Travel Softball

The NCBSA’s philosophy towards our travel softball program is to create and provide a competitive team (or teams) for the most skilled and committed children, allowing them the opportunity to play softball against other competitive travel programs at the appropriate level in the spring and fall. NCBSA will attempt to find and create a travel team at the appropriate skill level, but make no guarantee that all players will make a team.

NCBSA may create as many or as few teams in each age group.  NCBSA reserves the right to modify teams season by season, in order to achieve these goals.

Playing for the travel program each season involves a substantial time commitment for both players and families.

Our Program

NCBSA participates in GHVSL league and will play by their rules and regulations. Please visit their website for more information. https://www.ghvsoftball.com/

Tryouts for 2nd graders and up will take place at the end of the spring season.

All players registered for travel softball in the spring must also register and participate in recreation and/or modified softball in the spring.

Division age groups are determined by birth year and follow the GHVSL guidelines.

Fall softball teams are created by the softball travel committee. All players who participate in a fall travel team are invited to play for a spring travel softball team. The spring travel team is an elite group of players from the fall team who showed good attendance, good attitudes and exceptional softball skills. Not all fall softball players will be invited to participate in the spring travel program.
